76 Student-Athletes Named To Skyline Conference Winter & Spring Academic Honor Roll

KINGS POINT, N.Y. (July 17, 2019) – The Skyline Conference announced its Academic Honor Roll for the 2018-19 Winter and 2019 Spring seasons on Tuesday and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy had a total of 76 student-athletes over 10 different sports recognized for their hard work in the classroom during their respective seasons.

In order to be named to the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have attained a term grade point average of 3.30 or higher during the term of their respective season (second term for winter sports and third term for spring sports).

"The Skyline Conference student-athletes continue to balance academics and athletics at a very high level," said Commissioner Linda Bruno. "Their experience at our member institutions epitomizes what the NCAA Division III Philosophy Statement is all about."

In total, throughout the entire 2018-19 athletic seasons, 110 Skyline student-athletes from USMMA were recognized on the conference's Academic Honor Roll. There were 34 Mariners selected to the Fall 2018 Academic Honor Roll
