The accolades come after their performances in the Queensborough Invitational this past Sunday.

The accolades come after the duo’s performances in the Mariners’ two home victories last week - 2-1 over Centenary on Wednesday and 6-1 over Lehman on Saturday.

The honor comes after his performance in the Mariners’ 34-21 road victory over rival SUNY Maritime this past Friday.
  • Mariner Women Finish Second At Queensborough Invite; First Among DIII Schools

    The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy women’s cross country competed at the Queensborough Invitational at Van Cortlandt Park on Sunday. The Mariners came in second place overall with 57 points, but first among the 13 Division III teams at the meet. JuCo Monroe College won the event with 31 points, while Pratt in third (164 points), Hunter in fourth (167) and SUNY Maritime in fifth (182) rounded out the top-five.

The Mariners totaled 42 points at the meet, with the first five finishers all placing in the top-15. In second was SUNY Maritime (112 points), followed by Monroe College (122), Purchase (148) and Hunter (156) rounding out the top-five.
