Collins Selected As Skyline Field Athlete Of The Week

KINGS POINT, N.Y. (April 9, 2019) – On Monday night, the Skyline Conference announced the weekly award winners for men's outdoor track & field for the week ending April 7 and USMMA senior thrower David Collins (North Kingstown, R.I.) was selected as the league's Field Athlete of the Week. The honor comes after his results in the Mariners' two meets last week, a home dual meet against arch-rival Coast Guard on Wednesday and the TCNJ Invitational on Saturday. 

Collins hit his third ECAC Qualifying Mark of the season when he finished in first place in the hammer event at the TCNJ Invite on Saturday with a toss of 50.31 meters (165' 1").
