Reddick Named Skyline Women’s Track & Field Rookie Of The Week; D’Arcy & McFadyen Land On Honor Roll

KINGS POINT, N.Y. (April 9, 2019) – USMMA freshman Madison Reddick (Baker, Mont.) was selected as the Skyline Conference Women's Track & Field Rookie of the Week, the league announced on Monday night. Additionally, juniors Kaleigh D'Arcy (White Plains, N.Y.) and Ally McFadyen (Saint James, N.Y.) were selected to the WT&F weekly honor roll. The praise comes after the trio's performances in the Mariners' two meets last week, a home dual meet against arch-rival Coast Guard on Wednesday and the TCNJ Invitational on Saturday.

Reddick hit an ECAC Qualifying mark in the javelin on Saturday at the TCNJ Invite with a toss of 36.81m (120' 9"), as she placed fourth in the event – the Mariners' highest finish on the day. She also came in 11th in the triple jump (9.74m - 31' 11.5"). On Wednesday, she was also part of the 4x100 relay (54.01) and the 4x400 relay (4:23.75), while also coming in fourth in the long jump (4.12m).

D'Arcy nabbed two ECAC Qualifying marks on the week in the 100m hurdles on Wednesday (17.84) in the Mariners' dual-meet loss to Coast Guard and then in the 800m (2:27.27) at the TCNJ Invite on Saturday.

McFadyen secured her second ECAC Qualifying mark of the year, this in the shot put, on Wednesday with a toss of 10.23m, good for second place in the Mariners' loss to Coast Guard in a dual meet. She also placed fourth in the hammer (31.27m) and the discus (32.88m).
